The Company

Our client is specialised in software solutions for electronic money, payment systems, capital markets, and extended enterprise. It has been listed on the Italian Stock Exchange.

It is one of the market leaders for card management, payment networks access, and order management, TAS also operates as a key partner in the international market through its subsidiaries.
They serve major commercial & central banks and the main Financial Services centres in Europe, and the main global broker-dealers of the Global Fortune 500.
In recent years they have diversified their offerings and today their solutions are adopted in the Public Sector (Ministries, Regional Government and other Local Bodies) and by Corporates.


The Position

The future MD International will be part of the Executive Committee of the group.

The challenge is to drive and further grow the TAS’ international business being responsible for the P&L, acting as “entrepreneur”, business developer at top level and talent motor at the same time.

The day-to-day business is demanding in terms of content (multiple countries with local P&Ls and offers, at the same time animating teams and manage complex contracts with customers while handling the commercial pressure.

The mission is:
a) to develop the international platform work and to develop, in close cooperation with the GM of various subsidiaries, a scalable business and 

b) grow the business afterwards, organically and via acquisitions to a set size in terms of headcount and revenue

The position can be based in any of the international subsidiaries.



The position reports directly to the Group CEO


The ideal candidate

  • Experienced professional with a successful 15/20-years track record in Technology Financial Services environments. Knows to operate the “recruit-sell-execute” ratio
    Well versed in managing scalable and fast-moving organizations
    Strong and sustainable network with the ability to trigger sales opportunities at a very senior level
    Offers experience in managing a full P&L with a focus on growth (including in M&A cases), integration and animation of teams, rolling out new businesses and leading organizations of a comparable size
    A well-rounded executive with the ability to deliver strategically but a hands-on business vision.
    Previous experience in the domains of innovation of payments, cards and financial markets it’s a must.
    Experienced in offering technology solutions including application, project implementation, consultancy and software services.
    Active commercial experience in managing complex key accounts is key; the ideal candidate needs to show a notable business development appetite. Experience with and network some of the target accounts of our client (major international banks and corporates with complex treasury management) would be a strong plus
    Offers undisputed business transformation experience and a good grasp on financials in order to structure and rationalize the existing business while pursuing the search for growth drivers
    Well-organized, used to work and influence matrix environment and to deal with ambiguity
    Proven experience in dealing “tough but fair” with works councils
    English fluently, strong intercultural intelligence.
    Knowledge of Italian is a plus.
